牛年春節綜藝節目

(Organised by Chinese Cultural Centre 倫敦中華文化中心主辦)

A Chinese variety show consisting of breathtaking balancing acrobatic acts  & martial arts by Hebei Cangzhou "land of acrobat" Arts Group; Changing Face & Magic;  solo / duet classical and contemporary dances by Hidy Yue & Maggie Kwan; audience participation with Kathy Hall, London Jingkun Opera Association and a resounding finale from the London Harrow Children’s Dance Group. A 90 mins programme selected  from the above repertoire will be presented in London. (Programme subject to change without prior notice).

中國綜藝節目包括由河北滄州“雜技之鄉”藝術團表演的驚險雜技和武術,此外還有經典的和當代的歌舞音樂節目,以及倫敦Harrow兒童舞蹈團表演的精彩的壓軸節目。其中將有90分鐘的節目在倫敦上演。(節目如有變動,恕不另行通知。)

The Variety Show is at four venues in London and is suitable for all ages.

Chinese New Year of the RAT Variety Show 2008


A 90 mins variety show consisting of traditional plays performed by the Beijing Ying Zi Shadow Puppet Troupe accomplished by live music (4 stringed fiddle, drums, gongs cymbals suona and other folk instruments); breathtaking martial arts demonstration and balancing acrobatic from Hebei Cangzhou Wuqiao. Plus classical and contemporary dances with a resounding finale with the London Harrow Chinese School Dance Group.

Every year we put on a series of Chinese Cultural events which tour London wide. These often include Chinese Opera, Acrobatics, Martial Arts, Music and Songs. The programme includes overseas and UK based artists.

We offer educational events in connection with these programmes to London primary schools.

Chinese New Year Variety Show


Celebrate the Chinese New Year and welcome in the year of the Boar with Zhu Bajie, the gluttonous pig, the 90 mins. show includes breathtaking balancing acts by acrobats from Wuqiao, Hebei Province and martial arts performed by master of the Shaolin School. Performances from the Sichuan Theatre include the intriguing 'Kings of Masks' show, (where artists change their appearances in split-second transformations) and comical act 'Rolling with Candle Light', a demonstration of technical excellence.
