Background on Year of the Monkey

The Chinese New Year day falls on 22nd January 2004.

This year it will be the Year of the Monkey.

The sixteen Chinese New Year Festival (2004) features visiting artists from China, Taiwan and local artists. It comprises a wide range of disciplines including puppets theatre, acrobatic, dances, music exhibition, and film.
