The ultra-modern and cosmopolitan city stars together with Lai and Wong, an enchanting playground in which they work out their on-again off-again romance. Lai breaks up with Wong at the beginning of the film. But professional circumstances force them together, when she has to get all the details of a party she is planning for an ailing and elderly tycoon approved by his doctor—who just happens to be Lai. |
