Zhou Yu, a young artist, meets the shy poet Chen Ching, on abusiness trip to the city of Chonguyang. The two fall in love and from then on hou travels twice a week by train to meet Chen, who rarely leaves his library. Zhou spends to much time on the train that the sound of of the wheels and the spinning scenery dominate her memories. As always , Going Li delivers a superb performance Zhou Yu. It's an impressionistic, at times stream-of -consciousness, tale of obsession and the age-old question of whether it is better to be loved or to love.
