Luo Yusheng returns to his hometown for the funeral of his father-- a village teacher. To his surprise, his mother insists that all traditional burial customs be observed, though times have changed so much. Thinking back over the stories he heard about his parents’ love story and knowing their romance had been a hard, but movingone, Luo understands why his mother wants to do it. To honor his father’s dearest wish, he spends one day teaching in the village school
