Missing Gun

The film tells the story of a small-town policeman Ma Shan, who simply wakes up one morning to discover that his gun is missing. In China an official who loses his gun can be sent to prison for up to three years. During his search, things take a sinister turn when Li Xiaomeng, his first lover, turns up dead and the bullet appears to be from Ma's gun. Ma is arrested for murder. Under intense interrogation he is able to turn the tables on his accusers and convinces them he was not the murderer. He then begins to lay a trap to catch the real killer.
