CHINA ON SCREEN 2003 - Images of China![]() The five-day festivals of film in London and Guildford will each include six recent works from China's exciting and innovative new film industry, featuring some of the country's leading directors and actors. Programme includes the acclaimed Zhou Yu's Train starring Gong Li (of Farewell my Concubine); A Sign, winner of best film in the Cairo International Film Festival; Missing Gun with Jian Wen the celebrated male actor and Lotus Lantern a film for children of all ages. The premiere of A Sigh will be introduced by the director Mr Feng Xiaogang and the star of the film Miss Xu Fan. The festival is presented with the collaboration of the Chinese Cultural Centre, Carol Leighton of Guildford Arts and Odeon Covent Garden & Guildford.
